In a case of seriously bad luck, i took a tumble on the last of the ice left in Leeds and fractured my wrist. It's serious bad luck because it happened right at the end of my first week of the new bill paying job I started. Bummerrrrrrr. Hopefully they'll be kind enough to give me sick pay. On a brighter note I'm not a lefty so I'm experimenting with drawing whilst drugged up on codiene. I'll be posting them once I've come down from my clouds long enough to plug in the scanner. Rambling... side effect.

After moving my room around to create two defined areas, bed and clothes/books and desks. Whilst clearing out my room today in preparation for packing up and moving I found so much old work, including this series that were done during my art foundation year. They were a response to a trip to Paris, where I found a picture of the two children. I made up a narrative of an imaginary trip to England recorded on postcards written in French by the nanny looking after them and made illustrations which appeared inside a wicker picnic basket, like an oversized book.
